The first component is the tank which has the main function as a vehicle fuel reservoir.
The fuel in this tank will later become the main source of vehicle engine lubricant. The tank itself is made of thick plastic which is lighter than the old tank.
The next component of the EFI system is the fuel filter which is useful as a means of filtering impurities from the fuel.
Through this fuel filter component, it can be ensured that the fuel supplied to the combustion chamber is clean and ready for use.
In the EFI system there are two types of fuel filters that are commonly used, namely coarse filters and fine filters.
This coarse filter is composed of large porous knitted wire to filter out large materials. The fine filter of this component is composed of cloth with dense pores so that the smaller dirt particles will be stopped.
Seeing that the two types of fine filters have a more effective working system, modern vehicles now also have a water sedimenter type to separate fuel and water.
This new type of fuel filter is useful for maximizing the combustion function without other additional particles.
The electronic fuel injection EFI component is a delivery pipe located at the end of the fuel line.
This one component is useful for storing fuel from the fuel pump and being the meeting point for all injectors. This is the reason the component must be made of hard material.

Next, there is a hose that flows fuel from the tank to the injector and is called the fuel feed. This component is composed of strong mica material with the ability to withstand the pressure of gasoline on the edges that are prone to breakage.
EFI is also equipped with an injector component that can release fuel automatically according to vehicle on-off. The working principle of this injector utilizes the electric voltage generated by the ECU and can axially open the nozzle.
In relation to the previous component, this sensor is useful as a means of determining the period of the injector opening and closing. The main sensors detected are air temperature, air mass and injector opening angle. Generally, vehicles are equipped with 5 types of sensors, namely MAF, MAP, IAT, TPS, and CKP.
Next, there is a fuel pump that is useful for increasing fuel pressure, especially in the fuel feed section called the fuel pump.
In the latest EFI engine, this one component works on the principle of being assisted by electricity, so that it is more perfect and does not burden the engine.
Lastly, vehicle EFI is equipped with a battery component that plays the main function as a supplier of electric current in all electronic vehicle accessories.
In addition, the battery in the EFI is also used to provide voltage feedback to the ECU resulting from sensor processing from a range of 0 to 5.
