In order to have a commercial establishment, it is necessary to have the following elements:

1. A physical space

On the one hand, the physical space is the place or store where commercial transactions are carried out. In this sense, depending on the type of establishment, it may have a sales room, a parking space, restrooms and other services that must be offered to customers.

2. Products

In relation to products, they are all goods and services that are subject to exchange in the commercial establishment. For example, if it is a shoe store, it is the shoes, if it is a pharmacy, the medicines, and if it is a bookstore, the books.

3. Sellers

On the other hand, salespeople are the sales force of the place. They will be in charge of carrying out the sales tasks, specifically they come into contact and interact with customers to achieve the sales action.

4. Buyers

In the same way, buyers are consumers and clients who go to the establishment to demand or buy the goods and services they require.

Without these four components, the purchase and sale transaction could not be generated in a commercial establishment.

1. Warehouses

Of course, warehouses are establishments that are located in residential areas and are general merchants that supply a wide variety of products to families in the residential areas where they are located. They are also known as winemakers, pulperos or shopkeepers.

Likewise, these markets have a large number of small stores that are known as market stalls inside them. Each stall operates in a limited physical space and they are highly specialized trading stalls, some sell only meats, others only vegetables and fruits, others groceries to name a few examples.

Now, supermarkets for their part are establishments that are located in a fairly large physical space and sell mass consumption products such as food, groceries or cleaning products, among others.

5. Galleries and shopping centers

Both the galleries and the shopping centers, group various types of specialized merchants such as banks, restaurants, beauty parlors and many others. The difference between a gallery and a shopping center is only the size. The gallery is smaller and the mall is bigger.

Finally, department stores are large commercial establishments that organize the products they sell in departments such as ladies, men, whites, home and many others. They are characterized because they need a lot of staff to attend to the public that visits them.

In conclusion, we can affirm that commercial establishments are important places where processes of purchase and sale of different products are carried out and that depending on the type of clients they serve, the products they offer and the size of the physical space they occupy they may be different nature.
